Effective immediately, eligible American Express cardholders are invited to make full or part payment for their travel using their American Express Membership Rewards points.

The offer applies to almost all airline, tour and travel insurance purchases; even pre-loaded currency Cash Passports. Clients can use their points to pay for their own travel, or for family, friends or employees. Better yet, travel redeemed with points is still eligible to earn frequent flyer points, and there are absolutely no blackout periods to comply with. As a rule, 10,000 membership points will equate to a minimum travel value of AUD $100.

We’re thrilled to be able to offer this option as part of our More Ways to Pay initiative; ensuring Platinum clients can always make the most of their travel. Thus far, we’ve seen clients use their points to upgrade to Business and First Class; secure tickets to the hottest Broadway shows; even book a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti!
