Image: GoPro The GoPro Hero6 is the most recent itineration of adventure camera from the GoPro family. The Hero6 features a well-lit LCD touchscreen, pinch to zoom capabilities and includes faster Wi-Fi for better file transfer to user's phones which are all improvements from GoPro's previous Hero5 model. At only 117 grams, this lightweight camera is durable and is able to withstand water up to 10 metres (33 feet) without a case. The Hero6 also includes an upgraded image stabilisation feature which is a significant improvement from previous versions. The camera also has a new processor called the GP1 which has improved image quality -especially in low-light- to help retain image details and colour accuracy. The Hero6 is able to shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second and 2.7K video at 120 frames per second but a huge feature of this newest model is in its incredible slow-motion footage. This camera has the ability to film 1080p video at 240 frames per second which allows users to take extremely dynamic slow-motion videos. The Hero6 uses the same battery and is compatible with all the accessories of the Hero5 which is welcome news for existing GoPro owners. All these features combined make the Hero6 perfect for on-the-go travellers.
