NEW AUTOMATED CHECK-IN ZONE FOR INTERNATIONAL QANTAS PASSENGERS
Sydney Airport have announced a new automated check-in zone has been implemented for Qantas passengers at the International T1 Terminal.
Travellers can now check-in, grab their boarding pass, drop their bags at the automated bag-drop area and go straight to security from this zone, in a process similar to the one in place at the domestic T2 and T3 terminals.
The aim of the new zone is to make the check-in process more convenient for travellers and reduce the time it takes for them to get through the airport with the help of automation and technological advancements.
T-BUS FEE WAIVED
In other Sydney Airport news, the airport have announced that they will be waiving its current T-Bus terminal transfer fee. The T-Bus service, which currently costs $6, transports travellers between Sydney Airport’s domestic T2 and T3 terminals and the international T1 terminal.
This service will now be free for all passengers and operates from 6am to 8.50pm each day. The journey travels in a loop between the domestic and international terminals and takes about 10 minutes.
