Carl is the co-founder of Platinum Travel Corporation and is responsible for developing the overall business strategy from its head office in Melbourne. Prior to Platinum, Carl was the Managing Director of HRG Australia and has previously held many senior roles throughout the travel sector, including his tenure as Director and Chairman of Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA).
With over 30 years’ industry experience, starting with a cadetship in Qantas, Greg launched the first privately owned Business Travel Company in Brisbane – acquired by Business Travel International (BTI) in 2000. After 5 years working as an Executive Director within HRG Greg moved back to NSW, where he launched Platinum Travel Corporation.
A work hard attitude combined with a broad knowledge of travel technology, business, marketing and design has enabled Andy to build a network of influential individuals worldwide. Andy has a key focus on increased operational efficiencies, acquisitions and business opportunities that will help Platinum grow into the future.
Sarah’s key roles involve the sourcing and implementation of intuitive technology, and assisting with the overall direction of Platinum. Sarah’s industry background in finance, operations and technology has positioned her in the business to aid future success and growth.
General Manager - Platinum Travel Management
A solutions driven individual Christine joined the industry in 2004 and has always had the customer in the forefront of her mind. Christine works with our existing clients to deliver cost reduction strategies and maximise their travel programs by introducing efficiencies and travel products. Christine also manages our new clientele through the implementation process.
Corporate Team and Relationship Manager
With 15 years experience, Richard’s role involves overseeing and having responsibility for all of the activities in the organisation which contribute to the successful implementation and execution of our corporate clients individual travel requirements.
Strategic Account Manager
Emma has over 10 years experience in the industry which began in the online travel realm with the likes of HotelClub.com and Booking.com, then leading to the corporate space. Her absolute passion for client relationship management translates into the dedication she puts into adding value to her clients’ travel programs, focusing on their business needs and creating an open, honest relationship with mutual trust and respect.
General Manager - Platinum Event Solutions
Michelle heads up the Platinum Event Solutions team and brings a wealth of experience in the industry. With over 20 years of group conference and incentive event experience Michelle has excelled in senior roles from leading Australian hotels, theme parks and conference venues. Michelle has established an extensive network of industry contacts and her passion for events and emphasis on building strong and respectful relationships between staff, clients, and suppliers should assure Platinum’s continued success and growth.
Manager - Leisure Travel, Tours & Marketing
Monica has over 14 years of travel industry experience, having worked in a variety of fields. She has been with Platinum for 5 years with the primary focus on leading her team to superior customer service delivery.
